The YM80 produces 42 ounces of homemade yogurt. Using six ounce jars allows you to mix things up a little. Why not try different flavors in each jar? The kids may like theirs a little sweeter while mum and dad want to cut down on their sugar in-take. The jars each come with a screw-on lid allowing for easy storage of the finished product.
Extra jars are also available so you can start making that next batch of yogurt while still slurping through the one you just made (or maybe you're just a little disorganized like me and not all of the jars make it through your washing up in time).
Euro Cuisine YM80 Yogurt Maker features:
- the incubator unit itself comprising the heating base and a see-through upper cover,
- 7 individual 6 ounce dishwasher safe glass jars with accompanying lids,
- time indicator,
- 3 Year warranty,
- power cord storage and
- operating instructions.
The main thing to point out in the above feature list is the time indicator. It's really just a reminder of what time you'll need to turn of the machine - it wont automatically turn the power off for you. I don't see this as a huge drawback, rather just something you should be aware of.
While the feature list is basic compared to some of the other models on the market, Euro Cuisine's YM80 yogurt maker has everything you'll need to make your own organic home style yogurt.
